The NCCER Project Management curriculum focuses on equipping construction professionals with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage construction projects. This is a 5-day training, and the curriculum covers topics like construction documents, cost control, document control, and quality control, while also introducing modern leadership skills like interpersonal skills, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. It prepares individuals for roles as construction project managers, emphasizing planning, design, estimating, scheduling, and contract management. 


Key aspects of the NCCER Project Management class: 

Project Management Fundamentals: The curriculum covers the core principles of project management, including project phases, roles, and responsibilities. 

Technical Skills: It emphasizes practical skills like construction document management, cost control, scheduling, and resource allocation. 

Leadership Skills: The program also focuses on developing crucial leadership qualities such as communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution. 

Continuous Improvement: It encourages a mindset of continuous improvement and provides tools for ongoing assessment and development. 

Safety: Jobsite safety is a key component, with modules dedicated to safety procedures and the project manager's role in maintaining a safe work environment.

Training will be from 7 AM - 5 PM each day. A light breakfast and full lunch are included in the registration fee.


All attendees need to provide their own laptop computers for daily NCCER testing. ABC or HB NEXT does NOT provide laptop computers for those attending.

This training will be taught by instructors from HB Next.
