Did you know that in 2018 there were approximately 1,000 construction workers who died from the fatal four? That same year, there were over 5,000 construction workers who died by suicide - a rate five times higher. Can we really say we are committed to safety if suicide prevention isn't at the center of the conversation?
Join us for the 2nd meeting of the ABC of Georgia HR Forum for a special training titled: Vital Cog Suicide Prevention in the Construction Industry. Attendees will receive a training workbook, suicide prevention wallet card, program sticker (for your office or hard hat), and certificate of completion. The training will be led by our very own Austin Seamster who is certified to facilitate this program.
Before the training, we will spend a few minutes discussing goals that we would like to achieve as an HR Forum. Please bring a few ideas with you.

The HR Forum will serve as a collaborative network where ABC of Georgia HR professionals, or those tasked with HR responsibilities in your office, will join together to share best practices, discuss common concerns, and stay on top of industry trends.
Registration fee is fully refundable up to 5 business days prior to event. You must email Leigh Ann Williams at leighann@abcga.org to cancel. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of registration fee. Registration fees for no-shows are nonrefundable. Substitutions may be made at any time by Leigh Ann Williams at leighann@abcga.org.
