Description

ABC of Georgia is returning to Barnsley Gardens for another Fall Clay Shoot and Barnsley is continuing to surprise us with some exciting changes...

Since August of this year, Barnsley Sporting Grounds has been undergoing some major improvements.

Besides extending the shooting courses onto new trails, upgrading their fleet of golf carts, and an overall extensive painting and staining on the overall facility, you will also notice some new shooting stands.

BUILDING CONNECTIONS

WITH THE NEXT GENERATION

There is something special about these shooting stands only ABC of Georgia members would truly appreciate; they are being built by high school students! Barnsley Sporting Grounds has partnered with the Adairsville High School construction program to build their new shooting stands. It has been a great opportunity for the students to expand their skills.

As a result, we have taken this opportunity and invited Mr. Kevin Goble, the construction teacher of Adairsville High School, and some of his students, to join us for breakfast. Creating a casual space where the "next generation" of construction industry professionals can meet face-to-face and have some time to talk with some seasoned professionals over breakfast and coffee.

As mulligan sales and practice shots continue, we invite members to spend a few minutes with the high school students. Ask about their project, share your experience, and talk about today’s skilled trades and the career paths available in commercial construction. Whether you have five minutes or the full breakfast, your conversation could help a student see a future in our industry.

After "warming up" the Next Gen, you'll have time to take some warm up shots and prepare for a great day of shooting on this great new set up!*
